Targeted Rates Scheme
AbsoluteEnergy has been contracted by the Marlborough District Council to deliver the “Heat Smart Programme”.
Marlborough District Council is offering homeowners an alternative way to purchase insulation. Homeowners will still qualify for an EECA grant of up to 33% off the cost of their insulation.
To help pay the balance, you can now apply to council for a voluntary targeted rate which is paid back over a 9 year period. First payment will not be deducted until the new rating year.
How to warm up your home in 4 easy steps:
- Contact AbsoluteEnergy to arrange a free assessment of your home.
- AbsoluteEnergy will provide you with a written quote detailing the products best suited to your home. This will show you the amount you are required to pay after your EECA grant has been deducted.
- AbsoluteEnergy will assist with completing the application forms required for council funding.
- Once your funding is confirmed, your home will be fitted with insulation for you to enjoy a warmer, healthier home.
The targeted rates scheme will also provide funding towards a clean heating system.
